What is CBD Oil? What is CBD Oil?

Cannabidiol (or CBD Oil) is one of a multitude of chemical compounds known as cannabinoids and is a natural extract of the hemp plant.

Unlike recreational cannabis, CBD oil is not psychoactive and does not produce a ‘high’ feeling that consumers may experience with other cannabis products. Importantly, a recent World Health Organisation report on cannabidiol confirms that controlled human studies have not found any potential for physical dependence, withdrawal or tolerance and that it is not associated with abuse potential.

CBD products can come in many forms. The Cannabis Oil Company has produced a wide range of products including Oil (which is dropped onto the tongue), Balm, Gels, Additives, Capsules and Flavoured E-Liquids for use with vaping machines. The E-Liquids are also available in different strengths.

CBD oil use has risen exponentially in the last few years, with many consumers becoming more aware of the research behind its use.
